Leadbelly 1976 film

This is a biographical story of a lengendary folksinger by the name of Huddie Ledbetter. He was a master of the 12 string guitar and wrote many songs such as Goodnight Irene and Rock Island Line. He spent time in a Texas and Louisiana chain gang. The cast included Roger E. Mosley, Madge Sinclair, Alan Manson, Paul Benjamin, and Art Evans. It is a most entertaining as well as an emotional film.
