Set of resistors, capacitors, transist. etc for dummies

Looking for set of resistors, capacitors, transistors, diodes... etc for novice.

may be plus:
1. plated circuits like shown on pictire, but with smaller squares for chips.
2. basic logic chips (and or not xor, miltiplecsors coiters etc) and other cheap chips.
3. anythyng else like PIC processors, programmator for pic, soldering iron, solder, wires, buttons etc.

buying not in set will be too expensive.
