Uncirculated toned buffalo nickels is something I am always looking for.I almost always pay more for toned Buffalo nickels than what they would usually bring on the open market.Not just any toning will do.The toning has to be very eye appealing to get the extra money.Many of what they call"the Tone Doctors"have tricks of the trade to make coins more colorful than they really are.So,sometimes the coins that have been graded by coin grading services can catch a coin that has been altered.
